FIRST TIME WAXING?
If it’s your first professional wax, don’t worry. Your esthetician will explain the process, discuss your preferences, and provide aftercare recommendations.
For best results, hair should generally be about ¼ inch long before your appointment. Avoid shaving the area between waxing appointments.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Keep this in a small expandable section on Wix rather than taking up the whole page:
Avoid exfoliating immediately before your appointment. Certain medications and skincare products—including retinoids and some prescription acne treatments—can make the skin more sensitive, so please let your esthetician know what you are currently using.

AFTER YOUR WAX
For the first 24–48 hours, treat freshly waxed skin gently. Your esthetician will provide aftercare recommendations based on the area treated and your skin.
